Papum Pare Jungle Resort was born from a simple idea - bring people closer to the forest without giving up comfort. Set among rolling hills and thick green cover, the resort blends modern hospitality with the quiet charm of rural Arunachal. The team includes locals who know the land, guides who love the wild, and hosts who enjoy making every stay personal.
You'll find us in Sonajuli, Papum Pare district, a short drive from Holongi Airport and Itanagar. The setting is calm and scenic - tea gardens, forest edges, soft morning mist, and starry nights.
Guests use the resort as a base to explore nearby highlights like Papumpare Tea Estate, Sesa Pahar, Gompa Buddhist Temple, Donyi Polo Waterfall, Itanagar Zoo, and Tago Putu Hills.
Design here is simple, elegant, and practical. Natural textures, large windows, warm lighting, and spacious balconies frame the outdoors. Rooms are air-conditioned, linen is soft, water is hot, and Wi-Fi keeps you connected when you need it. Thoughtful details - tea setups, reading corners, and quiet nooks - make it easy to unwind.
Service is warm, unobtrusive, and timely. The team helps with airport transfers, custom itineraries, child-friendly plans, special dietary needs, and celebration setups. Whether you want an early breakfast before a safari or a private dinner on the balcony, we try to make it happen.
Tell us what you have in mind - family trip, quick getaway, couple's retreat, or a small celebration. We'll help you choose the right room, map a simple plan, and add experiences you'll genuinely enjoy.
